Family I'm 40 years old. I have a wife who is 34, a daughter who is 9 and a son who is 7 years old. I live in the northern part of Sweden in a municipality called Kalix. It's located some 100km south of  the northern artic circle. Our family also has a 'summer-house' 140km north of Kalix in a very small village called Dirivaara, which is the place my father was born in. We spend much of the summer there and I really enjoy the clean, fresh and calm environment up there. Meaning I don't like cities that much.... My wife (and my mother) are from Finland, from a city called Jakobstad. Jakobstad is located 400km south of Kalix. We have a lot of relatives and friends there and we enjoy going there as often as time and money permits, hehe.

Software Developing My occupation is being an Software Developer at Microbit 2.0 AB I find it very interesting and stimulating to learn new things about the many ways there are to develop software and what can be done by the new technologies which are 'born' almost constantly. I think developing software is like being an artist, it takes creativity and the right mood to achieve the best results. My wife sometimes accuses me for being married to my computer instead of to her ;-) Lately my interest has focused on mobile applications, with WAP, the "standard" for mobile Internet, as main thing. I find it very challenging to develop applications that are small enough to suite the small display of  a WAP-phone, without sacrifying too much information making it hard to use and understand. Motorcycle Riding my KLX 650 ST on some small gravel-road far away in the woods is a true pleasure ! It sure 'blows' the mind clean from whatever might burden it. It's a pity that our summer-season is rather short up here... The motorcycle-season starts usually in the middle of April and ends in September or the beginning of October, but the most reliable 'warm' period goes from June to August. If I had the money I would buy me a Highland 950 V2 Outback!

Life philosophy I have a Christian faith and is convinced that how we live our lives are very important. If we choose to follow Jesus we will sometime in the future be sharing an eternal life in 'heaven' with him and all the others who also have chosen to follow him. I also feel that following the example of how Jesus lived his life gives us an excellent example of how to behave towards each other. I am also painfully aware of how many bad things man have done in the name of God... But my explanation to that is that I believe we humans in general are far from 'perfect' (like Jesus was), and that this lack of 'perfect-ness' (when it comes to how to behave towards each other among other things) is the real cause to those bad things. Not that God/Jesus somehow has told as to behave like that. Nowadays there are more and more crimes and stuff like that, especially young people commit more and more severe crimes. Many people ask why this is happening. My believe is that is it caused by the lack of teaching about Jesus and what he has done for us. Young people grow up without a Christian faith, without knowledge about the Christian way of living and without clear rules of how to behave("what's wrong and what's right"). Recent examples are young people, even females, who commit very severe crimes for no reason at all and afterwards show no sign of regret, no sign of that they are aware of what they have done. That is scary to say the least....This Christian faith of mine is a subject which much more can be said about, but I hope you as the reader of this has gotten a picture of what I'm trying to express here :-)
